We accomplished a number of small chores at our house up north, some of which had to be done there because that's where the proper tools are now located. Life is like that nowdays. We also did the standard winterization stuff like draining all the pipes, flushing all the toilets, and setting all the thermostats. We keep our eye on the place through our Webcams, checking stuff like indoor/outdoor temperature and the depth of the snow on the deck. We also get to watch the color change of the foliage and see the view of the nearby ridgeline once the leaves are off the trees.
