Edmonton - And it’s still Friday

This will just be a quick note to let you know that we arrived safely in Edmonton after an easy 10 hour flight from China, a layover in Vancouver, and a brief hop over the Rockies. Dan’s Dad Dave and Noelle were waiting for us at the airport. Noelle was all smiles and excitement, and so were we!

After two weeks of relative warmth in China, we weren’t quite ready for 1 degree C temperature and light snow.

Roxy was waiting for us at home with Dan’s mother Midge. Roxy too was thrilled to see everybody. She had just started walking very tentatively when we left for China two weeks ago, and now she’s fully mobile and thrilled with her accomplishment.

Hugs, smiles, presents. A great homecoming.

By China time, it’s already noon the next day—and we’re still awake. But not for much longer.

Once things settle down we’ll get back to work and complete the missing last few days in our blog.
